Khayelitsha

A young woman dances in the Cape Town South Africa township of Khayelitsha.  Despite expansive poverty in the township, young people here celebrate life and cultural expression at a local community arts center.  This piece is a "photo-collage", a term I use to describe a process which digitally combines original photography with photography of my original abstract paintings to create a new unique image.
