Stand back a few feet and you'll see a dance floor filled with undulating bodies in this image, thus the title "Boogie Wonderland". My wife named this one and right after she did "Boogie Wonderland" played on the radio, a sure sign we got it right. This image was created from textiles from Nigeria and Ghana with organic material including cowrie shells, with acrylic and pigments. It is one in a series of works centered upon African textiles. I acknowledge the African artisans whose artistic creations are so central to my own.
